As businesses continue to move towards cloud platforms, cloud-based websites, and apps the focus on AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner training is now more than ever. If cloud computing is the career path you want to embark on, then this training and subsequent certification is a must to display your knowledge and expertise of AWS. 

AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner course will help you gain the practical experience mandated to set up and host your own applications on cloud-based platforms. By the end of this course, you will understand the concepts and essentials of cloud computing such as Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Private Clouds and Cloud programming. 

The certification requires several tools and services that are a part of AWS cloud platform, but you will be assisted throughout the program to install them if required. 

There are no specific prerequisites for AWS Cloud Practitioner training. However, it is recommended that individuals have a basic understanding of cloud computing concepts and the benefits of using the cloud. Some prior IT experience may be beneficial, but it is not required. 

The AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (CLF-C01) is the foundational certification for the AWS certification path. It covers a broad range of services, tools, and a fundamental knowledge of AWS cloud platform that allows an individual to provide networking, security, and support for enterprises working with AWS. 

The AWS Cloud Practitioner certification acts as a foundation for you to pursue any or all of the 3 associate level certifications from AWS – Solutions Architect, Certified Developer, and SysOps Administrator. After clearing the associate level certifications, you can prepare for professional level certifications – Solutions Architect (Professional) and DevOps Professional. If you have cleared either of these certifications, you can also opt for specialty certifications from AWS – SAP on AWS, Advanced Networking, Database, Machine Learning, Security, and Data Analytics. 

  • The process to become an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner is quite simple. You can enroll for the 16-hour training with am AWS certified training provider and get as much hands-on experience as possible through practice exercises.
  • You must attain professional experience of more than 6 months in any AWS role (it can include sales/marketing, technical, or financial roles)
  • Take the exam and score at least 700 out of 1000
  • Get certified as an AWS Cloud Practitioner on clearing the exam.

Apart from attending 16 hours of instructor-led sessions, you should devote 15 hours or more to practice through hands-on exercises on Cloud Labs and assessments to gauge your learning and concept clarity before the exam.

The AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (CLF-C01) certification exam features 65 multiple-choice questions as well as multiple-response questions. While MCQs require you to choose the correct answer from 4 options, the multiple-response questions can have two or more correct options from 5 or more options. You can attempt all questions without incurring a penalty for incorrect/incomplete answers.

The duration of the CCP certification exam is 90 minutes. 

After registering, you can attempt the certification multiple times, but each additional attempt will require you to pay the full registration fee. You are also required to wait 14 days for retaking the exam.

The minimum passing score for the AWS CCP exam is 700 out of 1000 marks.

Most class time is dedicated to hands-on exercises, lively discussions, and team collaboration, all facilitated by the trainer who is an experienced Power platform practitioner. The focus is on finding practical solutions to real-world scenarios in various projects environments, both big and small. 

In an online classroom, students can log in at the scheduled time to a live learning environment that is led by an instructor. You can interact, communicate, view, and discuss presentations, and engage with learning resources while working in groups, all in an online setting. Our instructors use an extensive set of collaboration tools and techniques which improve your online training experience.

You do not need to record the sessions, as the sessions will be auto-recorded on our LMS, you will be able to refer to them in case you miss a class.
